It’s pretty difficult to get a Tour de France yellow jersey. Years of training, dedication and commitment are necessary to win the biggest bicycle race in the world, to earn the coveted yellow jersey that success in the race brings.

But thanks to Wiggle, who have teamed up with CSC (the team that won the race last year), it just got a bit easier as they put up for auction a very special yellow jersey - it's been signed by last years winner Carlos Sastre.

The 10-day-long auction starts this week on eBay and is already generating huge interest. Funds raised will go towards a multi-sports day that NDCS (National Deaf Children’s Society) will be running for deaf children and young people in Walsall, West Midlands, on 10 October.

Wiggle’s Paul Bolwell says:

“We’re very excited to have such a terrific piece of cycling history up for grabs. The yellow jersey is the ultimate icon of the cycling world so we really hope it raises a lot of money for an extremely worthwhile cause.”

Carlos Sastre added:

“I am very proud to help the National Deaf Children’s Society to raise awareness of the obstacles that deaf children face at school and in their every day life."

Go to the auction now http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160328491861. Bids are currently at £255, but I’m sure we can get it a bit higher than that…
