Southend Wheelers will be promoting their annual Burnham and Baddow Cyclosportive Cyclosportive Charity Challenge on Sunday 10 February.

There will be rides of 40km and 100km for all categories starting from the East Hanningfield (Essex) Village Hall at 09.00hrs.

Entry fee is £5 (inc. refreshments) on the day. All proceeds will be donated to Cancer Research U.K.

One hundred and forty riders took part last year and included Alex Dowsett (Team 100% Me), who went on to win the Perfs Pedal Race held the following week and Emma Trott, recent signing by the new ‘Halfords Bikehut’ Ladies Team. This was the largest entry in the ride's history and £450 was donated to Cancer Research U.K.

A route sheet will be provided. Car parking is available at East Hanningfield Village Hall. There will be certificates for all finishers.
