I can't find anything else with a comparable spec for less than £900. The Cannondale R500 looks great but costs £699 and only has Tiagra transmission.

Why ebay when you can have new! I have spotted a New ALL Black Vanquish with carbon forks in my local Halfords £260 - Bargain!! Oct 09. Bought it for my eldest daughter as an intro into road cycle, as she finds her mountain bike too slow.
