	'THE TYRE BURST ON MY THIRD OUTING' Strengths: the tyre was put on with new tape,new tube and the right pressure. Weaknesses: it burst showing the inner wire on the sidewall. Overall: does not give much confidence when riding

	'GRIPPY, PUNCTURE-PROOF BUT SPLIT AT SIDE WALL' Strengths: hard wearing, grippy Weaknesses: I have had two split where the hooked retainer (mavic) butts against the sidewall. I keep them up to pressure. Were replaced by distributor, but cost me a taxi ride home each time. Overall: This fault has been flagged in CTC mag so its not just me.

	'LAST FOR EVER' Strengths: long lasting, virtually puncture proof (one in 4 years - surprised the nail didnt go through my wheel though) Weaknesses: fine in a straight line, dont like cornering in wet conditions, i've also had cheaper car tyres... Overall: will buy again as long term value for money

	'Good expedition tyres' Strengths: Low rolling resistance couple with good puncture resistance - only one puncture in a 2100 mile tour round SE Asia. Can handle offroad stuff too. Weaknesses: Tread wore badly on back tyre - swapping tyres round at regular intervals is recommended to make the tyres last longer as a pair. Overall: Good tyres if you want to travel light and fast with minimum fuss.

	'Top touring - top quality' Strengths: Long lasting and puncture resistant. 6,000 miles a set. I'm on my 3rd set now (on Dawes Galaxy). Easy to get on and off the rim. Weaknesses: Expensive and quite chunky. Overall: Top quality touring and commuting tyre, but at a price.

	'THE BEST TOURING TYRE.' Strengths: Puncture resistant, rolls well, excellent in all conditions. Weaknesses: None I can think of. Overall: Just finished two weeks cycling across France on these tyres - not a single puncture! Excellent grip in all conditions too. Highly recommended. (Oh, and very reasonably priced if you buy from the right place online...)
