'SUPERB TROUSERS FOR BRITISH WEATHER. NO LYCRA.'
Strengths:
superb design, totally MTB oriented, well built, seem tough enough, keeps you dry, quite breathable. Look like mornal overtrousers. Velcro and cordura in all the right places.
Weaknesses:
need to cleam them by hand really. no thermal properties apart from windproofness.
Overall:
I was fed up with getting a wet arse and all that so I bought some two months ago (in october) and have ridden in them every ride since. comparing the features and quality of them to a similarly priced jacket shows how good they are and exc. value too.

'WATER PROOF TOUGH BUT YOU DO GET HOT!'
Strengths:
They are water proof and tough. You can put them on without taking shoes of so can be stuffed into a ruck sack and put on as required.
Weaknesses:
I overheat in them. When your working hard particularly on climbs you overheat dreadfully. I guess they don't breath that well.

They are a tad baggy but they don't get caught in mechs due to nifty velcro ties.
Overall:
Good value, water proof over trousers. If you sweat a lot or ride particularly strenuos climbs you will get very hot indeed.

'DRY, BUT MAYBE TOO WARM'
Strengths:
Totally water proof. They seem well designed, although I've not fallen off in them yet. Reasonably priced I suppose.
Weaknesses:
The sizing is ridiculous. I may be small but I had to send the small size back because I couldn't get the waist tight enough, despite the fact it was supposed to be 25-28 and I'm 28. I now have an XS pair and they're ok in the waist, but made for very tall people.
The cut is interesting too - about right in the thighs but if you have calf muscles they could be a bit tight.
As the other reviews say, they can get a bit sweaty (even in the Lakes in winter!), but that's inevitable.
Overall:
If you're tall and thin, go for it. Otherwise, I might recommend looking elsewhere.
