 | | | Posted: 20/02/01 | | 'Warm and comfortable - essential winterwear' | | Strengths: Toasty warm. Prevents water soaking legs & stops moisture getting into shoes. Windproofing is excellent & importantly knees are kept warm & dry preventing painful joints Body temperature is kept constantly warm even in extreme weather conditions, but neither are they too warm on milder days. | | Weaknesses: No padding round crotch, which can be overcome by wearing shorts. Buckles although bulky, nonetheless surprisingly are not uncomfortable. However, they may be more of a problem for a taller person. | | Overall: I've used these throughout this horrendous winter, mainly offroad in snow, Ice, mud & water, which in itself is testimony to how good they are. They may prove to be a bit warm for Autumn & spring, but they are after all "thermastat" full length bibs, indicating primary use for winter. Overall, highly recomended winterware |
