'GREAT REACH!'
Strengths:
You get to use the full length of the cable.
Weaknesses:
Its not overly hard to cut through, so its only really gonna be of use as a complement to an existing lock.
Overall:
If (like me) you can't be bothered to remove your QR front (and rear) every time you pop into the shops for a 4 pack of cider and a tin of beans, this is the perfect security device. Its hardcore enough to discourage the casual thief, and lightweight enough to not really slow you down. Add it to your Dlock (or chain, large dog, whatever) and you're pretty much good to go.

I went for the bigger of the pair, and find I can easily hook both wheels, the frame, and saddle without removing a thing. That's a definite win, and is largely down to Kryptonite's amazingly clever 'lets not make it boingy' design. It doesn't get caught round your spokes, you can point (and feed) it through small holes, it pulls free without trying to rip off your decals, and in release it doesn't even whip back onto the knuckle of your thumb on a cold morning outside safeways.

All in, this is a great idea. Finally, I can have cider and beans every night :)

'QUITE GOOD BUT FAR TOO EASY TO CUT THROUGH'
Strengths:
What Andy has said really. I had the long cable which when combined with my Abus D Lock was enough to disuade people from stealing the front wheel etc. It was easy to use etc and light enough to carry.
Weaknesses:
Really easy to cut.
Overall:
I made the mistake of securing both my front wheel and the front wheel of my girlfriend's bike with it. The bike theives thought that was all her bike was secured with and cut through it in broad daylight on a very busy street. NEVER use it to secure your frame to something, it is far too easy to cut through.

However as a deterrent to put people off taking your wheel and other bike parts that hopefully aren't worth getting the bolt cutters out for it is top notch.

To sumarise, this MUST be teamed up with a serious lock such as a D-Lock.
