	'VERY USEFUL EVEN OFF THE BIKE TOO BUT PRICEY' Strengths: warm, comfortable, fairly water resistant - seams not noticeable while wearing too. Weaknesses: as with all assos stuff, it's pricey Overall: very functional and quite stylish i think, can wear it when not doing sport. (haven't had it long enough to give it more than 'good' on reliability.) i got 2004 version half price from parker international but wouldn't have spent the full price on it. Though it may still have been ok value - just can't spend £25 on a hat on my budget!

	'VERY GOOD' Strengths: Good fit and warm. Weaknesses: None, I purchased in the sale hence cost wasn't the usual issue. Overall: You'd think that a hat is a hat is a hat, but Assos immediately feels different. How can Assos justify being so much more expensive than the rest? This question is almost answered as soon as you put any of their gear to the test.

	'EXCELLENT WINTER WARMER!' Strengths: Fit, warmth, comfort, quality. Normal Assos high-quality garment and a steal at the sale prices at Parker. So good I bought another to wear when skiing! Weaknesses: After repeated wearings & washings some "bobbling" has appeared, but this is purely cosmetic and in no way affects performance. The Yellow color does seem to fade more quickly than the red - the same is true of the Assos tights I have. Regardless, these are minor quibbles. Overall: Very satisfied - would definitely buy another.
