'WORK WELL TILL IT GETS PROPER COLD... OR WET.'
    Strengths:
Good compromise between warmth and sensitivity. Neoprene warm when wet and windproof. Fit good for me.
    Weaknesses:
Artificial leather (Lorica) palm and fingers offer good grip, but aren't particularly warm and get wet and soggy.
    Overall:
Generally good for cool, dry conditions, not so brilliant when the weather gets either wet (but when does that happen in the UK) or cold (less than, say, 5 C). The Neoprene section is just the backs of the gloves and fingers which is great for those areas, but the Lorica palm area while it gives good feel and reasonable grip on bars and controls, isn't warm. Wearing liner gloves makes things a little better, but when it gets wet as well, things aren't quite so groovy. The palms get soggy and cold, which is a shame as the Neoprene sections work well in these conditions. Reckon you're better off with a 100 per-cent Neoprene glove if you're that way inclined, but these are good when it's dry and not too cold.

'THE WORST GLOVES ON THE MARKET'
    Strengths:
    None
    Weaknesses:
Lack of padding on the palm and fingers
    Cold, especially in wet weather
Rain from the grips seeps into the palm and stays there
Gloves don't cover enough of your wrist
    Overall:
These gloves are very close fitting and difficult to pull on and off, especially when damp. They are also sweaty around the fingers. The palms get wet easily and don't dry out.
The neoprene keeps the top of your hand warm and dry-ish but your fingers get drenched in the rain so your hands stay cold.

These gloves would be improved by a liner but the fabric on the underneath lets them down.

The worst part if the lack of padding - the globes are simply unwearable. After lots of pain in my hands I've actually cut mine up and re-used the neoprene. Cheap fleecy gloves are warmer and more pleasant in the rain.
It's hard to believe they are made by Gill.

    'GREAT GLOVES'
    Strengths:
Tight fit and not bulky which means you still have some sensation of being conected to your bike - shifting/steering. Just chuck into washing m/c.
    Weaknesses:
maybe a bit more padding on palms
    Overall:
No problem with gloves. ok, they are a tight fit...but so are neoprene wet suits and they act in the same way. My friend also has a pair and has no problems.

Excelent autum/spring glove.Ok most days in winter, too hot for summer.Maybe not a good choice for all day rides without being padded hands start to hurt after a few hours.

'TOP WINTER GLOVES AT A SENSIBLE PRICE'
    Strengths:
Very warm considering their lightness and the mobility they allow. Cycle friendly cut. Price.
    Weaknesses:
Can't actually think of any, kept my hands warm all day over the Malvern's in January.
    Overall:
Some of the reviwers above complain about the sweaty nature of these gloves, but thats the clever bit, thats how such thin gloves keep your hands so warm. Neoprene causes your hands to sweat, this then warms quickly and keeps your hands warm. It's the same principle that wetsuits use to insulate divers and also the reason why it does not matter that they are not water proof.
This glove is well thought out, comfortable, warm and cheap. No excuse to sit at home on winter Sundays!
