'THE BEST GET BETTER'
Strengths:
Heavier grade materials make for great wear resistance.
The high back keeps my butt covered, good for everyone trust me!

The fabric naturally repels water so the odd splash or spray isn't a big problem.

The inner surface is slightly fleecy, good for all but the coldest of days
Weaknesses:
No water proff/bibbed version for really cold and wet days.
Overall:
Ron Hill Products have always been the Daddy, so when I was looking for a warmer set of longs I bought these on reputation only

'STILL A GOOD ALL ROUNDER - IF YOU'RE NOT TOO SMALL'
Strengths:
Hardwearing, windproof, breathable.

Don't look as daft walking into the pub as shiny skintight lycra.
Weaknesses:
Sizing seems to have gone all to cock on these new 'uns.

I've used some old (medium) tracksters for many years, and they were a snug fit on me - in fact the old small was too tight. For some reason I've now had to go down to SMALL with these dxb's and even then they're as baggy as Nora Batty's stockings.

Sizing seems different - they don't seem to fit the smaller person anymore.
Overall:
Tracksters have always been good all rounders, as comfy knocking about the house as biking. And they still make a good compromise for most weather conditions, although I wouldn't get too excited by the water resistant claims of the DXB fabric - you still get soaked if it rains proper.

Make sure you try for size before buying tho'...
