BMC bikes

BMC competitive prices and neat detailling
In the pro peloton it's rare that you get a team with such a close association with it's bike manufacturer. BMC (Bicycle Manufacturing Company) launched directly through Team Phonak Hearing Systems in 2004 and they are probably the most easily identified bicycle in the professional road peloton.

The Crosslock Skeleton lugs at the seat tube and the bottom bracket are the main feature with a BMC frame. Designed to allow a stiff and strong rear end (stronger welds) with a little added give for compliance.

The spec of the BMC range is mighty impressive too. Unlike many other large maunfacturers they have to use a certain amount of quality European produced parts (it's a Swiss VAT law thing), so there's either handbuilt DT wheels or Mavic on many of their bikes. A complete BMC SLT01 with a full Campagnolo Record Groupset and Mavic Ksyrium wheels weighs in at a scant 15.9 pounds.

Shown here is the Scandium/Carbon Team Machine SLT02 (grey coloured) £2859.00 and the all carbon Team Machine 01 Phonak £3999.00 with Record and Ksyriums or for £3719.00 you can have a black version with full Dura Ace 10 and DT Swiss R1450 wheels.

Prices start at £1428 for the compact geometry Steetfire SX in Phonak colours with Campag Centaur and Easton Ultralite tubing.

We hope to have a test bike very soon.
