Bell Volt helmet

Volt-Blue-lo

The new Bell Volt helmet boasts 22 carbon-reinforced vents

Established in 1954, Bell has continued to be a leading name in protecting heads and all that experience and expertise culminates with the release of the Volt helmet, due out later this year.

Billed as a race helmet, The Volt offers 22 huge vents via “Carbon Fiber Intakes” which not only provide structural integrity but also force airflow through the internal “StreamJet Ventilation” channels. An internal reinforcement cage provides additional strength to the 280g helmet.

The “Twin Axis Gear” retention system provides easy dialling of the fit and the inside is lined with quick drying and anti-microbial X-Static padding. A removable “Variable Position Visor” allows this helmet to double up for duty on and off the road.

Available in three sizes and a selection of colours, the Volt will make its debut in the 2008 Tour de France, with availability in shops following soon. The Volt will cost £119.99.
