The Maglia Storico collection from Prendas Ciclismo recreates in contemporary fabrics the appearance of some of the most evocative trade jerseys of the past. Designs include the legendary Brooklyn strip of Paris-Roubaix legend Roger De Vlaeminck, Bernard Hinault's Renault/Elf/Cycles Gitanes team colours and the Reynolds top worn by Pedro Delgado. There's also a convincing recreation of Raymond Poulidor's Mercier top and, not pictured, the Del-Tongo-Colnago strip worn by Giuseppe Saronni in his prime.
Sizes mostly run from XS to 3XL, but others are on offer and some are missing so a visit to the Prendas website may be in order. Prices run from £35 for the Reynolds, Mercier and Reynolds tops to £45 for the Brooklyn and £49.95 for the DelTongo designs. All feature a front zip and three rear pockets.
