Helly Hansen X-Pulsion

Doing what it does best, Helly Hansen has launched a range of new technical clothing for 2008 labelled X-Pulsion with bold claims for its superiority over everything that has come before.

X-Pulsion is HH's latest take on 'moisture management', and is said to increase the speed of evaporation through a new X shaped fibre. This, in combination with HH's Coolgrid fibre construction (which manages the push-pull effect of moisture away from the skin, and increased airflow) should see an end to sweaty backs and that cold feeling when the sweat evaporates.

Two products will make use of this impressive sounding material: Fire and Transport. Fire is a shirt designed for multiple sports in short sleeve, ¾ length sleeves and a sleeveless option for women. Various colours to pick from and prices start from £35.

Intended as a more casual top, the Transporter can be worn for riding or off-the bike, in short or long sleeved version. Prices start from £20, and various colours are available.

Tests soon on RCUK.
