Backstedt to ride the Revolution

Magnus Backstedt, winner of this years Paris-Roubaix, will start his winter season on the boards at the Manchester Velodrome - where he has signed up to ride the first Revolution event of the new series on Saturday October 23rd.

Magnus plans to ride some six day races throughout winter and will be using Revolution to mix it up with some of the best track cyclists in the world in the form of the British Cycling team from Athens. The organisers now have confirmation that every medallist will be in attendance, so the racing should be fantastic.

The freindly Swede, who lives in Wales and holds a British Licence (I bet that's got a few points on it) is no stranger to the track having done some early season training in Newport and raced in various meetings in the past, however it will be his first appearance in Manchester and his first appearance at the Revolution.

The event will start at 7pm and will run until around 10pm. This year we will be offering hospitality in Track centre tables of 10 are available for purchase through Face Partnership 020 7483 2600. Tickets will also be available on the night.

Details:
Revolution 5 will be held on SATURDAY 23RD OCTOBER - keep posted on the Revolution 5 information page for news on riders and other attractions.
