Pozzato custom Sidi shoes

FFWD Wheels

There's more than a few well known perks to being a pro cyclist, and customised bikes and clothing have always been some of them. Liquigas's Fillipe Pozzato though has just received a brand new pair of customised Sidi shoes in time for the Milan-Sanremo classic this weekend.

Based on standard Ergo 2 Carbon shoes but with a special one-off floral decoration - a reference to the flowers which have made Sanremo and the Ligurian coast famous all over the world. I doubt anyone will find time to point and laugh at his shoes in the final sprint however, expect him to be fighting for the win.

Commenting upon receiving his new shoes, Pozzato said: “Thanks for the flowers. This new shoe was a very nice welcome surprise. I hope this gift will bring me luck on my Sanremo ride.”
