Enigma 2008

Now in their second year, titanium specialists Enigma have launched the £899 Eclipse for 2008. With full bikes starting from £1,599, with various build options available, the bike looks an attractive option for those on a budget.

To complement its range of frames, you can now complete your Enigma with branded components, including handlebars (£39.95), stems (£49.95), a saddle (£49.95), alloy (£24.99) and ti (£69.95) headsets and carbon bottle cages (£24.99), all receiving the Enigma logo.

Besides the six models in the range (seven if you include the new MTB), the LAB has been set up as a test-bed for new ideas and unusual projects. To give you an idea of what we mean, the project has so far created a singlespeed version of the Eulogy frame, pictured below, as well as other projects including a touring frame with sliding dropouts and a cyclo-cross frame with switchable dropouts.
