Helly Hansen, well known for their ubiquitous Lifa baselayers, has launched a new layering collection for the winter.

The Mid-Layer range for men and women features Lifa Stay Dry Technology, and promises superior moisture movement in extreme conditions. It's been the choice of dozens of artic adventurers, around-the-world sailors, and winter sport enthusiasts for more than 30 years.

Designed to be worn as a layering piece over the company's Dry Baselayers when extra warmth and dryness is required, the Bullet High Neck Zip is intended for snow sports, but we can't help thinking that it looks ideal for a spot of cycling too. Colours range from white, black and red and it's priced at £60.

The Stripe Half Zip can be worn alone as a base layer, and features a masculine cut. Both items have flat lock stitching for a smooth on-body fit and easy layering, as well as chin shield zipper protection. Priced £50 and available in blue, black and white, in sizes from XS to XXL.

Priced at £60, the Bullet High Neck is available in white, black and red, and the Stripe Half Zip, priced at £50, comes in new blue, black and white - sizes XS-XXL. The Stripe Hoody comes in pink lightening, black and white, priced £60, and the Bullet Half Zip, priced £50, is available in black and white - sizes XS-XL.
