RCUK Bikes Dustine Walker's Planet X Superlight

Hi

As well as my single speed road bike, theres my Planet X Superlight, which IS pretty light, as it happens, especially since it has been built up over time and on a budget.

The gear levers were given to me, and I think are about 12 years old, the crank set was reduced in a sale, the wheels were reduced in a sale, the saddle and seat post came off my mountain bike, the forks were in a sale… the pedals are now Eggbeaters, the flats I put on when I lent it to a friend.

The tyres used to match, but the Michelins kept getting gashed through the sidewalls by flints; the Specialized on the back has proved bullet proof, if rather dead feeling. It's good and light, and great for when work takes me near a hilly region of the country, to have a blast around on!!!
