RCUK Bikes Dave Davenport's Bianchi Paris Roubaix

I built this up in November as a bit of a treat to myself after being ill and off the bike for a couple of months. I'm still waiting for some decent weather to try it out but I intended it to be a fast, comfortable 'sportive rig.

  • Frame; Bianchi Paris-Roubaix Matta S9 ti frame as ridden by big Magnus in 2004
  • Group; Dura-Ace (Record would have been nice but over budget)
  • Wheels; Campag Zonda's
  • Rubber; Open corsa evo cx's
  • Bars & stem; Cinelli Vai
  • Carbon seat post
  • Brooks ti railed saddle (existing garage stock)

Haven't had a chance to weigh it yet, think it's about 17 1/2lb.
Got everything discounted so all up cost came in about £1850

Hiya mate, built the same frame up this summer, chorus with fulcrum 3's, toupe saddle and thomson bits, record ergo-leavers - done bout 1000km so far and its REALLY REALLY nice, was riding a tarmac but this is just something new. The frame is probably the best i've ever had the pleasure of riding, enjoy your time with it...
