RCUK Bikes Marcus Nash's Giant

Well this is my bike! I've had her just over a month now, her name is Ginny, short for Virginia and she is my first proper set of wheels. Used mostly for commuting and the odd weekend ride, she suits my needs perfectly. Semi relaxed riding style, carbon forks and seat post to take the sting out of the awful roads around the Gosport and Portsmouth areas.

I've kept the cyclocross tyres on for now, partly for the extra grip - mostly because I'm a cheapskate! As you can see she is pretty standard, the addition of two Cateye EL520 and LD600's keep me visible on the roads, (ironically the two times I've been knocked off her have been in daylight hours with good visibility and my rear lights on!) and a Specialized Turbo 2 Elite Computer lets me know when I'm breaking the speed limit :-) (there is a 20 zone on my commute!).

She is gorgeous and I love her. Ultimately she will probably have the bars (possibly stem as well) upgraded to carbon (again for the comfort), and the wheels to a set of Mavic rims when her current shoes are knackered. Tyres will be changed for the summer although I quite like the fact the knobbly cyclocross tyres have prevented punctures from the glass etc found on my route - so not sure what to go for yet.

Please let me be one of the first 20 as I really want one of those RCUK jerseys and like I said - I'm a cheapskate!
