Bradley Wiggins wins Gold

Bradley Wiggins made the gold medal look easy. He was never behind during the final run and set great times in the heats on his way to the title. The 23-year-old Credit Agricole pro provided a faultless display of pursuiting to beat Australia's Brad McGee in a time of 4:16.304 seconds.

Bradley is the latest in a long list of top UK pursuiters, so why is it that we are so good at this sport? We want your opinion on the forum... We have produced 6 World champions and 2 Olympic gold medalists over the years: Hugh Porter, Tony Doyle, Colin Sturgess, Chris Boardman, Graham Obree and Bradley Wiggins - So why are UK riders so good at individual pursuiting?
