ProTeam Liquigas 2007 presented in Milan

The presentation of team Liquigas 2007 took place at Sarpi Sei in Milan. A mix of sport and show with a special guest, the showgirl Federica Fontana. Photography by Fotoreporter Sirotti.

Liquigas

The Liquigas team is ready to face, for the third consecutive year, the new cycling season among the main international teams. It will do that with a competitive staff, suitable to a ProTour team aiming at cutting a fine figure on every aspect.

Liquigas

General manager Roberto Amadio - supported as for technical management by the 4 confirmed team managers - will work with 30 riders coming from 13 countries. The green-blue team looks quite renewed: 19 confirmed athletes, 11 new-entries that will wear the Liquigas jersey for the first time. To support “old” Danilo Di Luca, Luca Paolini, Franco Pellizotti and Magnus Backstedt, there will be a new captain: Filippo Pozzato, king of the last edition of the Milan-Sanremo and great affair of cycle-market. Liquigas will feature only one neo-pro: Dario Cataldo, winner of the last Giro Baby.

Liquigas

The whole Liquigas team, which has just come back from a training camp in Cecina, will debut at the end of the month on Asian routes of the Tour of Qatar. That's the first summon up of the season: Patrick Calcagni, Francesco Chicchi, Mauro Da Dalto, Francesco Failli, Antonio Fischer Murilo, Aliaksandr Kuschynski, Roberto Petito and Frederik Willems.
