Base Building for Cyclists

base building book
Arriving not a moment too soon, 'Base Building for Cyclists' is the first book to focus on the all-too-often overlooked foundation period that can make or break a racing season. It focuses on low-intensity training and weight lifting for strength work, and is broken down with goal-oriented training plans, to make it all a lot simpler.

The book's written by Thomas Chapple, a licensed elite-level USA Cycling and USA Triathlon coach and an Ultrafit Coaching Associate. He has competed at the national level in downhill mountain bike racing, and regionally in road and track. Since he started coaching in 1997, he has enabled competitive athletes to advance from the local ranks to placement at national and world championships.

Base Building for Cyclists retails in the U.K. for £15.00. Available at good bookshops or direct from www.cordee.co.uk.

The base training for cyclists book is not currently available on www.cordee.co.uk, as it says in the article.
You can, however, buy it from amazon.co.uk for the bargain price of £6.56.
