Revolution 14: More photos

The best thing about the Revolution just past was the rare chance to see up close some top pro riders, like Gilberto Simoni, Yaroslav Popovych, Bradley McGee and more. They were clearly enjoying themselves, enjoying the atmosphere and loving the support from the spectators.

Talking of spectators, such was the rush for tickets that organisers were having to turn people away. Proof, if you needed it, that the Revolution format is a winning formula.

Do you think Gilberto Simoni was enjoying himself? He certainly was, and was loving the spectators who made a lot of noise for him (pic: David Arthur)

If you wanted close racing, it didn't get any closer than the DHL Future Stars Girls (pic: David Arthur)

Revolution Women's Sprint Omnium, and Lucy Ayres took the win (pic: David Arthur)

It's important to warm up - here's some of the Future Stars doing exactly that(pic: David Arthur)

Even though Wiggins is a pro, he still cuts his own over-socks (pic: David Arthur)

David Millar took the evening in his stride... (pic: David Arthur)

...and took time to sign autographs for the kids - like this kids cap for instance (pic: David Arthur)

The Revolution Sprint was quick, frighteningly quick. And close too, so close that it was near impossible to pick the winner when they crossed the line. (pic: David Arthur)

In the end though just two riders remained, and both were brits. Jason Kenny showed Dave Daniell and everyone else why he's the World Junior Champion (pic: David Arthur)

More photos soon, and we've got interviews with all the stars to follow soon.

imo Casper, Simoni and Popovych should forfeit their appearance money. Were they injured or just not up to the pace being in their off -season?
Millar, Wiggins, Hammond and McGee gave it a good crack.
