GB's best back on the podium

GB's Chris Hoy proved in Australia today just why he's such a World Class rider, taking Gold for the Kilo on day one of the Sydney World Cup.

In a time of 1:02.242 Chris came in just ahead of SIS rider Jason Queally's time of 1:02.362. This put two GB riders on the podium and made for a great start to the Cup.

Elsewhere, SIS rider Victoria Pendleton took Silver in the Women's Sprint just missing out on the top spot to classy Russian rider Natallia Tsylinskaya.

The strong Dutch rider Theo Bos was on good form as usual and took the Gold Medal for the Men's Keirin.
