As a sufferer of cold hands and feet I was delighted to buy a pair of Assos Winter Shoe covers ( No I don't wear them on my hands ). Having been delighted with all my other Assos Gear I thought the £60.00 something was worth the investment. Nothing worse than cycling with freezing feet and hands. Having ridden just the sixty miles with the club ride ( Thames Turbo Triathlon )and having gloated how warm my feet were ( "Shame your feet are freezing old mate why not try some Assos Winter over shoes like me" )I was very disappointed to see a big hole in the left toe of the material. Having washed off the mud and grime ( It can rain heavily in the Surrey hills ) I took out the needle and cotton and repaired them. Quite pleased with the outcome until ...
