Roubaix
The Roubaix for 2007

A few weeks ago Spesh launched their latest stuff for 2007. We have a whole load of pictures to sort through including the new wheels, a all new Tarmac and the new S-Works carbon cranks. But first up is an RCUK favourite ride - The Roubaix. It's lighter and tricker than before and some of the detailing is marvellous. No chance to ride it yet but here's the details from the press release:

Roubaix 2007 Advancements from 06:

All-new S-Works frame design featuring AZ1 construction
All-new Pro/Expert frame platform with AZ1 construction
Wheels chosen for ride quality

The 'new' main features are:

Systems approach to Bike Design - Project Roubaix
Oversize Bottom Bracket / Crank combination - Stiffest/lightest available
Handlebar - integration of stem & handlebar creates stiffest combination
Wheels - models chosen best blend of performance and compliance
Tires - High performance with increased compliance - Roubaix 23/25
Bars - Increase comfort without compromising performance - Barphat
Saddles -Lightest available while maintaining good bloodflow with enhanced comfort - Toupe gel
