Biggest bike show in Europe gets under way
It's Eurobike time again, and as ever RCUK's fearless reporters are there to peer into the nook and crannies of the Friedrichshafen Messe to find what's going to be new and exciting in the cycle trade over the next 12 months. The Village People look - or something similar - is already proving a hit. Former and current stars of the open road are everywhere, with Mario Cipollini an early arrival and Fabian 'Spartacus' Cancellara expected to appear tomorrow (Friday).
All the big names in cycle manufacture are at what is now reckoned to be the largest and most influential in Europe. They don't mind spending money on their stands, either. Watch out for a series of reports from the show over the next few days.
