Charge Spoon Ti Saddle

Go on, sit on a Spoon...

Charge Spoon Ti Saddle £49.99

The Spoon range of saddles from Somerset fixed and singlespeed specialists Charge Bikes has already garnered a fist full of rave reviews elsewhere for comfort and value for money, so we thought we’d put the range-topping Spoon Ti to the test for its longevity as well.

Initial impressions are good, the Ti coming in under the weight of 270g which accompanies its stable-mate the Spoon Cr-Mo and after a three hour long first ride things bode well.

The seat of the saddle is wide and firm enough to support the sit bones well whilst the nose of the saddle is narrow enough to avoid chaffing of the thigh. It’s always a good sign when you can take a new saddle and forget you’ve fitted it on its first outing.

Finished in smart black fabric with a tasteful stitched design and eye-catching company logo, the Spoon Ti looks like it will maintain its support and finish. Time will tell.

Verdict
