David Zabriskie for his great turn of speed and the way he answers the questions on the missing saddle podcast website interview. His new secret weapon is potatoes ! -

Jens Voight - great character - always rides his heart out either for himself or his team
It's got to be Jens (see my previous thread!)
Stephen Roche - for the climb on stage 20 of the TDF in 1987 at La Plagne.

Bradley Wiggins. He has a really good stance on drugs, is a genuine nice guy and is polite and modest even though he has won 3 olympic medals. Another point is; he has changed from his original track discipline over to the road. That takes a lot of guts. His entire livelihood is on the life and he still remains positive and true to himself.

 Bally off RCUK.
ROFL !!! You are my favouritist Adam, followed by M@
Well, at least I know where I stand now, Bally. I've always preferred kahuczech to you anyway! neh!
Tom, you are the owner of the most heroic rider award in my book :)
Hope the Sunday People paid up!
Heroic, but not your favouritist. It's just not the same. lol. And, yes! the Sudnay People ran the article yesterday and donated the 5K!
But favouritist hero Tom - that should mean a lot to you, your smile is definately my favourite though
I know, my smile is particularly unique. I don't feel it will be quite as effective a scare-tactic when I get teeth in November/December, though. On the bright side, I will be able to relax more while eating again. lol
It depends on my mood. Currently it's the diminutive Russian nail-chewer, Andrei Tchmil - Small, strong and stylish.
Second to Tom Staniford... obviously.
BTW, Tom, those teeth... I will never fear the dentist again.
yes, they are pretty nasty looking, and yes I have enough metal and shrapnel in my mouth to make me look like I swallowed a grenade, and yes, it may give the effect I am Jaws' illegitimate love child. BUT I've never had problems with people pulling their weight in a paceline. One leery grin fixes it. I have legitimate cycling war-stories to tell (and my knee scars look suitably impressive).

sean kelly, last of the farm boys a total warhorse and because he nodded an answer during a radio interview
Big George for me, true pro.
 Pascal Richard.
Stylish, fast, could climb a bit and sprint a bit.
Wore the great MG-Technogym kit (which had an apple on the front) with style.
Won my favourite race, the Tour of Lombardy.
Now rumoured to own a clock shop in his nativce Switzerland (although this last point is not a reason why I love him!)

 Lance Armstrong.
Classy, determined and very professional
