yes! I knew it! I'm quite chuffed that I pointed the finger at schumacher back in july.
at the same time, its not exactly what I should be celebrating...

ho hum.
the world of pro cycling.

Yes Tom, Celebrate!!!

Schumacher has been getting out of positive tests for years on medical technicalities.

Funny how he followed up his Tour TT dominance with a poor olympic performance (around the time they started looking into the Tour de France re-tests) and then pulled out of the worlds.

Glad to see he has been caught. Cant wait for the next cheat to be unmasked. I hope the riders who are clean and who know they are clean, will be getting the recognition they deserve for their results soon.

Belgian Newspapers published the list from Italian newspapers last week. THEY say (allegedly allegedly) that 5 out of 9 of the riders at CSC will be joining Schumi on the list.

As depressing as the whole thing is, especially when talking to non-cycling friends who only hear the doping stories, you'd have to imagine that at some point a tipping point must be reached when it becomes too risky to dope. As that point is reached and performances overall plateau any outstanding feats will raise eyebrows. In fact, two time trial victories froma rank outsider in TDF might do that...

Oh dear!!  I've missed all this..and recent cycling news whilst I've been away, er... cycling!!

Whilst I was on the road, somebody asked me if I'd heard about the Schleck brothers? No, I haven't!!

Yes, it's all very sad: sorry, Oz Matt - nothing really to celebrate, but welcome back to the forum - haven't heard from you for a while!!
