I'm after a computer to adorn my new bike, I'd like the following features Wireless speed and cadence Heart rate monitor Well designed clear layout I've discounted the Polar as they need to be sent away to replace the batteries. The Garmin Edge is too big and does far more than I need The Cateye V3 does everything but the headunit is visually cluttered, but will be the one I go for if I can't find anything better Any one have a working knowledge of the VDO or Sigma units or is there anything else I may have missed? Thanks

Sigma units are pretty good and great value for money. I've got a wireless cadence jobbie that is pretty good. Didn't get one with a HRM as I already have one.

Try the Cateye double wireless HR 300. Its being replaced by the V3 series but I have the HR200 and its great - 200 does not have the cadance though. 300 does I beleive. As its being replaced by the V series they are going cheap.

i have a Polar CS200 with all of the features you list ... i've changed the batteries in mine!
I have a cateye wireless with cadence - no hrm- on my winter bike. Display is much better on my Polar and i tend to get less crosstalk with other computers

I have v2c (like v3 but without heart) and it's crap. Display is cluttered and hard to read, sensor unit is badly designed and will snap off unless you use extra cable ties to hold it on, 'auto start' function is a joke and needs starting manually for each ride. avoid.

Hi all does any one have any comments on the Blackburn Delphi 6.0, as I'm interested in that model due to the fact it can tell you how high you've climbed amongst other stuff . It seems to get good reviews, mind you I've only found two & they were on here. mark

Mark1 - the sigma also has an altimeter, and I've also heard positive things about it Simon, The only reason I was shying away from the Polar was the battery situation, is it an easy battery change?

Mavic Wintech HR is by far the best of the ones I have tested.

scotchio , the battery change operation on the polar is exactly the same as on my older cateye and my much older sigma, twist the battery cover and replace the battery.
if you want one solution to heart rate / bike computer then i don't think you can fault Polar CS200CAD
i looked at all the options when i bought my latest summer bike 8 or 9 months ago. i use a polar watch for mountain biking and on my winter bike with the cateye cd300dw computer, so i wanted one single piece of equipment that does the lot (and the stem mount is spot on)
I'm best friends with the owners of my LBS who sort of eased me away from the cateye all-in-one v3 series as they had heard through that there were niggling faults with the heart rate monitor part .....
