Having raped the overtime a little more than normal this past month, i have found myself with a little extra money to play with.
Gonna upgrade my wheels, can everyone give me some suggestions? dont mind going second hand, and can stretch to £150 providing no one on here tells mrs pies!

I was thinking along the lines of...

All suggestions are most welcome!!!

Shimano 550, sometimes called 105. I bought them as a training wheel and now find myself racing with them. Bloody good for the price.

I only lost 5 minutes on the lead group of the Paris Triatlon with them - They were drafing as a group, I was alone (me and the 406 guys I overtook).

And you have 20 quid left for beers er pasta.

A set of mavic aksiums will cost you about 130 and are a great wheel also you'd need to be putting some serious power through the back end to screw them up.

Personally would not buy pre-owned Ksyrium Elites even in good nick. Have broken rear hub and spoke in different rear wheel through fatigue.

The mavics are great too. Might be my next set.
