Eurosport is now available in HD on Sky, so this afternoon for the first time it'll be possible to watch Le Tour live in HD

 Isn't today a rest day?
I guess I'll have to watch highlights then, that's fine I obviously need to catch up.
Do you have to access Eurosport via Sky sports channels? I don't have the sports package.
No I don't have Sky Sports, I get Eurosport as part of the 'News & Events' mix.
I have to say that it looks amazing in HD, you can see the beads of sweat.
Wow, altogether another experience, thanks for the call on it
Does Duffers inane rambling get any more accurate in high definition, or is it just the pictures?
mine doesnt work. it says to call a number for more info on how to recieve this channel i assume you have to pay for it
You have to pay for HD yes and have an HD receiver.
My tv is HD ready but I heard it will be made free in the future. Strange the way they don't mention the cost on when they are commentating on the Tour. How much is it anyway?
All HD ready means is that you can feed an HD signal to it from a Sky HD box, Freesat HD box, Blu Ray player or PS3/XBOX. HD subscription on Sky is £10 month for which you get around 8 HD channels, more if you already subscribe to Sky Sports or Movies. Eurosport is actually a free channel but Sky make a charge, I think you can get it free from other satellites.

I had it for a year (length of contract)its really good and you also get dolby digital with HD broadcasts but not worth an extra £120 a year IMO
