Hi All,

Going to invest in a new pair of bib tights for this winter.  Been using leg warmers and a pair of waist tights previously.  Will be wearing my bib tights under them so no need for ones with a pad.

Any recomendations, rr advice on what to avoid would be welcome.

Hey Brian,

I live in Scotland too.  I wear Endura Thermolite Bib Longs.  They're excellent.

Watch the sizes though, as they're made small.  I had to go for the next size up from my regular size.

I bought mine from Wiggle...

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the recommendation.  One further question - do they come with or without a pad?  I've got some Assos bib shorts and love the comfort and was intending to wear these under any tights I buy.

Cheers.

Without a pad

Depends if you want bibtights with a pad or not.  Having a pad in them will remove the need to wear a pair of bibshorts underneath but it's all down to personal preference.

Assos airProtec.LL with FI Mille pad, 'fleecy' lining and air block on knees, pure quality even if a tad expensive

Santini Roubaixs are good for all but the coldest/wettest days.

£35 from most Santini stockists (GB Cycles, Prendas etc)

Good colours too, no seat pad/chamois!

Thanks for the input guys.

Went for the Endura Thermolite Bib Longs after all - got them for reduced price on Evans
