The water shedding tracksters made me itch like buggery, so beware - and wear shorts underneath.

Bikesters for the warmer (ha!) weather, and mt 500 tights for winter, perhaps coupled with Helly Hansen thermal longjohns. Job's a good 'un

Recently (it's not been that cold) I've been wearing the 3/4 Endura tights with some fox shorts over the top, when it gets really cold I'll go back to my Roach "freeride" trousers. You can get the trousers in plain black so they don't look too downhilly...

Try some Ron Hills tracksters, great quality and value and they are bombproof and nice and warm.
only prob is they are not cycling specific so are a bit short on the ass, but shorts underneath and a jacket over the top means no gaps anyway.
Ron Hills look sh!t.
(but unfortunately they work)
I like cycling shorts with BLACK leggings over the top and "maybe" a pair of Fox/Roach/Kona shorts over the top of that if it's muddy (and it always is up here).
Posy and warm.

I want something In between the two Like tights but a bit looser but not downhill pants or over trousers any ideas???
the fact that tracksters look shit is indesputable, but they're cheap, they work, and you can't see what they are once they're covered in mud anyway ;-)

I reckon these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/default.asp?ReferID=BMshopping are the strides for me.
the mt500 tights are excellent...since ive had mine ill never be without them....soooo comfy and so good that im gonna get myself a second pair as I hate getting chilly but they do seem to be winter/autumn specific as they get too warm otherwise
Tracksters on top of cycling shorts seconded.
you could even get some of the funky water shedding ones, never tried them, so I don't know how well it works, but souds like a damn good idea in principle, and they're still pretty cheap
Get the ron hill Bikesters.
These are tracksters with a higher cut at the back.
You can get them with the waterproof DXB coating too.

Endura make some relaxed-fit longs I think, similar to the Bikesters. yep, they're on this page:

The "multi-tight".
