A superb wicking undervest suitable for cooler riding conditions
Here we have one of those garments that feels right from the moment it is pulled over the shoulders. ‘Right’ as in snug yet allowing complete freedom of movement, light yet reassuringly supportive, cool and yet with enough insulation to be worn as a winter undervest.
Which is what it is designed for, since the short-sleeve version is obviously intended for warm weather. Both versions use a fabric thread called TG900, which is a polypropylene strand with a cross section of five radiating arms. The channels between the arms draw water vapour away from the skin to the surface of the garment where it can evaporate, ensuring both rapid moisture removal and effective cooling. By keeping the skin dry, TG900 also prevents chilling from water on the skin.
The end result is almost incredible, keeping the rider acceptably dry even under extreme effort. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the vest is its warmth, since on first acquaintance it feels almost cold to the touch. The fabric also manages to stay odour-free for longer than most similar garments. Putting it back on for the homeward commute after a day left hanging in a corner is not the usual pungent affair.
The cut is nice and long, with proper length sleeves and a higher collar than the short sleeve version for added snugness. Complaints? None; so far there is no sign of fragility, poor stitching or any tendency to snag. Top marks, Bioracer.
Unimpeachable wearing comfort in all conditions calling for covered arms
Cool, snug, tough, well-tailored, even looks good

I'm impressed.......very impressed
Never thought I would see the use of the word unimpeachable.
I take it the female members of staff refused to wear it so we had to settle for second best then.
Love the idea of cross section of fabric with 5 radiating arms. Kind of like little octopus but with less arms of course.
Someones been stealing smarties
I opened up the link and almost had my eyes poked out
I'm starting to feel self-conscious for the first time in my life.
